To visit the studio please make an appointment. You are welcome to visit to discuss commissions and to see particular artworks. As the studio is on a working farm visits are by appointment only.
The studio is situated on my uncle’s farm in West Cork, it is a lofted barn built in 1898. Originally the ground floor stabled the work horses and above was used for storing grain. The building gained a new lease of life when it was converted into an art studio after lying empty for a number of years. It is part of a traditional farm yard (the farm dates to at least the 1840's) and has panoramic views over West Cork and the Kerry mountains.
I hold an open studio event once a year where the public can come and visit without any appointment. The studio is open all weekend and an exhibition of current work is displayed in the studio and the old diary, often there are other events to coincide with the opening, check the news section to find out more.
I also teach different aspects of painting and hold workshops, both here in the studio, and regular classes in Rosscarbery town. The location of the studio with its panoramic views is the perfect place for landscape painting. There is a waiting list for classes and the workshops fill very quickly, to be the first to hear about classes and workshops please sign up to my mailing list.
