Reverie is a oil painting done after a trip over to Heir Island in April. It was a fine day and we walked the length of the island passing this scene as we went. The large cow was on her own in the field with what seemed a slightly unusual backdrop of a seascape. The colours of the landscape had not yet changed from their winter hues making for an interesting scene of quiet and solitude in landscape surrounded by water
