In the Heather Field is a beautiful original oil painting of a black horse in a filed full of heather and surrounded by trees. This painting was inspired an image I saw and I increasing like the idea of using plants to frame native breed horses and ponies and show them in their natural environments. This is a Dales pony from the north of England where they were use to working and living on the Yorkshire moors.
