Snow West Cork was painted when we last had a significant amount of snow a few years ago, this painting lay unfinished from that time so I thought it was time to finish it off. The scene is from the top of  the townland of Maultanvally looking down across Carriggrenane and over toward the village of Reenascreena. The dark skies give the impression of moonlight with the low sun casting long shadows from the trees and hedgerows
