Inchydoney strand is a small version of a larger painting I made of Inchydoney beach near Clonakilty. Its long sandy beaches and dunes make it very popular in the summer for visitors and surfers and the estuary runs as far as Clonakilty town.  It's size and variety provides plenty of interest for paintings

Inchydoney is an painting of the well known beach near Clonakilty. This was painted after an early morning visit at the start of the summer before the schools had broken up, there were only three people on the beach and the sun was sparkling on the sea in the distance
