Connemara in a Thistle field is an oil painting of a young connemara pony in among the thistles. The abstract nature of the background and the expression of the pony really appealed to me.

The Channel, Rosscarbery is an oil painting of just that! The Warren in Rosscarbery is a hugely popular beach but once September comes it returns to a peaceful place where locals walk the looped path around the dunes and across the beach. This particular scene is looking across the channel from the cul de sac to the coast guards house in September when the trees are beginning to fade but the water still retains the blue of summer.
