Magnolia sunset is another small oil on board painting from the spring. This magnolia is situated at the entrance to my drive at home. I tried to capture the moment as the sun goes behind the distant hills and the white of the magnolia flowers seem to glow in the diminishing light.

Sunset Carrigfadda is an oil painting I did from photos and my memory of a spectacular sunset from my brother in law's house. We were celebrating his 50th birthday with a barbeque outside and were treated to this beautiful sunset. Carrigfadda hill is to the right and in the distance you can see Mount Gabriel on the left
